To promote young scientists, the IASP's sponsoring association regularly awards promotional prizes in the fields of agroecology and urban ecology.

This year, the prizes will again be awarded directly to promote innovative experimental approaches in the context of student projects and graduate theses at universities and universities of applied sciences in Berlin and Brandenburg. The thesis must address a current research topic in the field of agroecology or urban ecology. The prizes consist of a certificate and prize money of up to € 500.00 each for planned study projects or Bachelor's or Master's projects. The prize money is to be used for the realization of the awarded project.

The application deadline for the current award is May 31, 2023.
