Due to the ongoing pandemic situation, the two most important Committees of the An-Institut had to inform and exchange information via video conference for the first time this year. The basis of the consultation was the report of the Executive Board on the current economic and organisational development of the Institute. The extension of the IASP's recognition as an affiliated institute of the HU until 2025, which was achieved in the summer, now makes it possible to concretise the plans for the next five years. Both councils positively stated that the IASP has so far succeeded quite well in coping with the consequences of the pandemic. The Institute's activities for increased innovation transfer are supported.
While the Coordination Council is responsible on the part of Humboldt-Universität for monitoring and intensifying cooperative relations between HU and IASP, the Scientific Council supports us in matters of public relations, knowledge transfer and strategy development. For the Coordination Council, which was constituted in 2016 to replace the former "Advisory Council", it was the 6th statutory meeting, and for the Scientific Council it was already the 38th regular meeting.
